Arriba at Second Valley, South Australia |
Arriba is the Spanish for "up and away", commonly heard in the toast "Arriba, abajo, al centro, pa' dentro" (up, down, to the center, inside). Arriba is also my Lightwave 38 cruising catamaran, made by Lightwave Yachts of Queensland, Australia. She was constructed in 2006, launched in April 2007 and was a charter boat based at Airlie Beach, Queensland, before I purchased her in November 2009. Arriba's home port is the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia (CYCSA), North Haven (Adelaide) but she also regularly berths at Marina St Vincent and moors in Boxing Bay, Kangaroo Island.
